Frequently asked questions
Before you start
How much does an interior design project cost?
The first meeting in the showroom is about understanding your spaces, needs and budget. [Terms of the design service to be confirmed with the showroom: the previous website described the design consultation as free of charge.]
What should I bring to the first appointment?
Room measurements (walls, heights, position of doors and windows), a floor plan if you have one, a few photos of the current space and pictures of rooms you like. An idea of your budget and of when you would like the home to be ready helps a lot too.
What is a photorealistic render and why is it useful?
It is a computer-generated image that shows the design like a photograph: furniture, materials, colours and light in your room. It lets you judge proportions and combinations before ordering, when changing your mind costs nothing. We create renders of interiors and of outdoor spaces too.
Do you also design offices, hotels and shops?
Yes: as well as homes we furnish offices and contract spaces, with the same attention to materials, lighting and fabrics.
